MAGARIMONO with Daoko
Daoko designed a distinctive sneaker with MAGARIMONO STUDIOS. The sole of the sneaker boldly expresses the delicate traditional beauty of Japan, giving it a unique presence. This model is not only manufactured as a wearable 3D printed sneaker in reality, but also minted as a virtual sneaker.
The first person to own this NFT will also receive a limited edition pair of the sneakers. These sneakers will come in silver, just like the NFT, and will be the only pair in existence.
Daoko
Daoko was born in Tokyo in 1997.
At the age of 15, she started gaining attention with songs that she posted onto Niconico, and made her major label debut with "DAOKO" in 2015. Since then, she has co-written songs with talented artists, such as "Uchiage Hanabi" with Genshi Yonezu and "Step Up Love" with Yasuyuki Okamura, all the while strengthening her individuality as a solo artist.
In addition to her music career, she has been writing novels, holding her first solo exhibitions of photography and painting, organizing self-organized live events, and successfully touring with a new band.
In 2019, she established her own private label "tefutefu", and released the single "escape" with Yohji Igarashi on March 9, 2022. A collaborative EP, "MAD EP", which includes “escape” was released on March 23, 2022.
